Peter oversees Velora’s editorial strategy and content standards, bringing nearly 20 years of cycling journalism to the site.
He was previously editor of Cyclingnews since 2022, where he introduced Cyclingnews' digital membership strategy alongside a host of new content pillars widening the brand’s appeal.
Before Cyclingnews Peter was the digital editor of Rouleur magazine, and digital editor of Cyclist magazine before that. Starting life as a freelance feature writer, with bylines in The Times and The Telegraph, he joined Cyclist magazine in 2012 as staff writer.
Peter has reported from Grand Tours, WorldTour races, rainy dual carriageway time trials and the summit of the world’s hardest cycling climb on a volcano in Hawaii. He has a background as an international rower, representing Great Britain at Under-23 level and at the Junior Rowing World Championships.
