Bahrain Victorious

Sheikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa started the cycling programme in August 2016, and the team raced its first WorldTour season in 2017, financed by the Bahraini government to promote the country. It rode as Bahrain-Merida from 2017 to 2019, spent 2020 as Bahrain-McLaren under a technical partnership with the McLaren group, and took the Bahrain Victorious name in 2021. Rod Ellingworth was general manager for the McLaren year and returned in August 2024 as director of performance.

Vincenzo Nibali arrived from Astana for the first season and led the team at the Grand Tours through 2019. He won Il Lombardia in 2017 and Milan-San Remo in 2018, then moved to Trek-Segafredo for 2020. Mikel Landa joined that year from Movistar and stayed through 2023.

Sonny Colbrelli won Paris-Roubaix in 2021, in the wet October edition, and was the first Italian to take the race since Andrea Tafi in 1999. Damiano Caruso inherited the Giro d'Italia leadership that May when Landa crashed out on stage five, won stage 20 and finished second overall. Matej Mohorič won two stages of that year's Tour de France, where the squad took the team classification and had its hotel raided by French police after stage 17.

Mohorič won Milan-San Remo in 2022, going clear over the top of the Poggio and descending to the finish alone. Gino Mäder died in June 2023 after crashing on the descent of the Albula Pass at the Tour de Suisse, and the team withdrew from the race. Pello Bilbao dedicated his stage 10 win at that year's Tour de France to him, and finished sixth overall.

Antonio Tiberi finished fifth at the 2024 Giro d'Italia and won the young rider classification. Santiago Buitrago won the Volta a la Comunitat Valenciana overall in 2025. Lenny Martinez, signed for that season, won stages at Paris-Nice, the Tour de Romandie and the Critérium du Dauphiné.
