'New season, new skin' as Visma-Lease a Bike reveals new Nimbl kit for 2026

Boutique brand Nimbl takes over all on-bike apparel for Visma-Lease a Bike in 2026, as the WorldTour squad pursues integrated aerodynamics on the bike and a premium Nike-driven lifestyle push off it.

Team Visma | Lease a Bike have unveiled their 2026 kit under the slogan "New season, new skin", confirming a technical shift as Nimbl expands from shoe supplier to full on-bike apparel partner.

Revealed on 30 December 2025, the new design keeps the squad’s yellow base but introduces larger black blocks intended to sharpen visibility in the bunch and on television. Woven into the fabric is a subtle "beehair" motif, a nod to the team’s long‑running Beehive philosophy of marginal gains delivered collectively.

Nimbl’s elevation to full racewear partner, which began at the 2025 Tour de France, formalises a move towards what both parties describe as "integrated performance" – treating shoes, socks, bibs and jersey as a single aerodynamic system rather than a kit assembled brand by brand. The 2026 garments are built around a "second skin" fit, with close‑cut sleeves, compressive panels and stabilised hems designed to minimise any movement of fabric at race speed.

Francesco Sergio, Nimbl’s managing director, called the expanded deal "a pivotal moment" for the Italian company in July. The kit will debut in early 2026 WorldTour.

The technical switch sits alongside an expanded commercial strategy. Nike now supplies podium and streetwear, and a Wout van Aert (Visma-Lease a Bike) signature line of hoodies and T‑shirts is aimed at lifestyle consumers beyond the cycling market.

The team’s merchandising drive, detailed when its Nike deal emerged at the 2025 Tour, is intended to build a premium lifestyle brand around its race programme, diversifying income in a WorldTour economy defined by escalating equipment and salary costs, as outlined in our analysis of Visma’s latest accounts.

Replica versions of the Nimbl‑designed kit, featuring the same visual layout and many of the aero patterning cues, are already available for pre‑order ahead of their January release.
