Rapha launches Pro Team 2026 collection in first season without a WorldTour team

Rapha's first flagship performance range without a WorldTour team introduces new products across its Training, Cargo and Aero systems, including a Pro Team Wind Jacket and standalone Cargo Bib Shorts.

Rapha has unveiled its spring/summer Pro Team 2026 collection, the brand's first flagship performance release since ending its seven-year partnership with EF Pro Cycling at the end of the 2025 season.

The collection is built around what Rapha calls a three-system framework, Training, Cargo and Aero, with each designed for a specific type of effort. Several new products join the range alongside updated versions of existing pieces.

What's new

The headline additions are the Pro Team Wind Jacket and the Pro Team Cargo Bib Shorts.

The Wind Jacket is a lightweight, breathable layer with stretch panelling for a race fit. Rapha describes it as highly packable and suited to early-morning starts, a Pro Team version of the brand's existing wind jacket.

The Cargo Bib Shorts are available outside of a special collection for the first time. They feature two leg pockets, a Pro Team chamois with a perforated top sheet and reticulated foam that conforms to the body and wicks sweat, plus debossed uppers.

The Pro Team Jersey II, designed for hard efforts on hot days, returns with lightweight mesh sleeves for increased breathability and a more engaged fit for 2026. The Pro Team Training Jersey III has also been refined with a more engaged fit and longer sleeves. Both sit on a fabric base of 88% recycled polyester and 12% elastane, with secondary panels in 100% recycled polyester. PFAS-free weather protection is standard across the range.

The three systems

Pro Team Training is built for high-intensity training rides. High-stretch fabrics provide what Rapha calls a second-skin fit, with evolved bib shorts featuring a dedicated Training Chamois and a fabric designed for repeated hard efforts. New lightweight leg grippers are aimed at improving thermoregulation during intervals.

Pro Team Cargo targets endurance riders who want to stay self-sufficient at speed. The integrated leg pockets on the new Cargo Bib Shorts hold food, fuel or a phone. The system is designed to pair with the Pro Team Jersey II and the new Wind Jacket for long, fast days.

Pro Team Aero is listed as coming soon. Rapha says 2026 will see the return of the Pro Team Long Sleeve Aero Jersey alongside the standard Aero Jersey and bib short. All pieces use wind-tunnel certified, proprietary fabrics that Rapha says have been validated on WorldTour podiums.

Testing and validation

Final validation of the 2026 collection took place during training camps in Mallorca. Rapha says the range has been shaped by thousands of kilometres of wear testing and race validation by elite athletes.

Life after the WorldTour

The collection arrives as Rapha leans on a new four-year deal with USA Cycling (2026–2029) to sustain its elite performance credibility. Rapha CEO Fran Millar, who joined the company in 2024, was candid about the decision to leave the WorldTour.

"As a customer and fan of the sport I felt that relationship had gotten tired," Millar said at a press briefing in October. "For Rapha we have to be doing things that are disruptive, we have to be doing things that are different." The US Olympic collection was first unveiled in January.

The Aero system, when it lands, will be the clearest test of whether the Pro Team name holds its weight without a WorldTour squad wearing it on race day.
