Soudal Quick-Step

Soudal Quick-Step was formed in 2003 from the remains of two Belgian squads, taking riders and staff from Mapei-Quick-Step, which folded at the end of 2002, and Domo-Farm Frites. Patrick Lefevere, who had directed Mapei through the 1990s and Domo-Farm Frites after it, set the team up and ran it until December 2024, when he stepped down in favour of Jurgen Foré. The flooring manufacturer Quick-Step has been on the jersey every season since the first.

It rode as Quick-Step Davitamon in 2003 and 2004, Quick-Step Innergetic from 2005 to 2007, then as plain Quick-Step until 2011. Omega Pharma-Quick-Step covered 2012 to 2014, Etixx-Quick-Step 2015 and 2016, Quick-Step Floors 2017 and 2018, and Deceuninck-Quick-Step from 2019 to 2021. One season as Quick-Step Alpha Vinyl in 2022 was followed by the Soudal deal, which took effect in 2023. The Wolfpack nickname has been in the branding since 2017.

The racing has been built on the cobbled classics and on a sprint train. Tom Boonen won the Tour of Flanders in 2005, 2006 and 2012 and Paris-Roubaix in 2005, 2008, 2009 and 2012, and Stijn Devolder took Flanders in 2008 and 2009. Paolo Bettini won world road titles for the team in 2006 and 2007, and Julian Alaphilippe did the same in 2020 and 2021. Mark Cavendish sprinted for the squad from 2013 to 2015.

Remco Evenepoel turned professional with the team in 2019. He won Liège-Bastogne-Liège in 2022 and 2023, and took the Vuelta a España in September 2022, the first Belgian Grand Tour win since Johan De Muynck's Giro in 1978, adding the world road title at Wollongong later that month. He was world time trial champion in 2023 and 2024, won the Olympic road race and time trial in 2024, and left for Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe for the 2026 season.
