Soudal Quick-Step has secured a Soudal’s title sponsorship extension through the end of the 2030 season, announced on January 8 at the team's presentation in Calpe, Spain. The four-year commitment comes as the team shifts focus back to Spring Classics following Remco Evenepoel's departure.
The extension provides the team with long-term financial security. "Having a title sponsor committed until 2030 is a huge strength for the team and a powerful foundation for the future," CEO Jurgen Foré said. "This extension reflects a partnership that works on every level."
The announcement was paired with confirmation that Paul Magnier (Soudal Quick-Step) has extended his contract until 2029. The 21-year-old Frenchman, originally contracted through 2027, is central to the team's rebuilt Classics operation. "Paul is a rider with exceptional talent and an extraordinary competitive instinct.," Foré said, "Extending his contract was a clear and confident decision for us."
Magnier, who is expected to make a return to the Tour of Flanders in 2026, said: "These first two years with the team have been incredible. I love the atmosphere in the squad and the bond I have with the riders and the staff, and I feel enormous support and trust from everyone."
The strategic pivot follows Evenepoel's high-profile transfer to Red Bull-Bora-Hansgrohe, which freed significant budget previously allocated to Grand Tour campaigns. Rather than replace him with another expensive general classification leader, management has redistributed funds to Classics specialists including Dylan van Baarle, Jasper Stuyven and Alberto Dainese.
Safety Jogger has also extended its partnership through 2028, further strengthening the squad's commercial foundation as it returns to the 'Wolfpack' racing style used during its Classics dominance in the 2000s and 2010s.
