Team Jayco AlUla

Team Jayco AlUla was launched in Adelaide in January 2011 by the Australian businessman Gerry Ryan, whose Jayco caravan company later gave the squad its name. Shayne Bannan came in as general manager and Matt White as one of the first sporting directors. It began racing in 2012 as the first Australian team to hold a licence at the top tier of the sport.

The name has changed repeatedly. It rode as Orica-GreenEDGE from 2012, Orica-BikeExchange from mid-2016, Orica-Scott in 2017, Mitchelton-Scott from 2018, Team BikeExchange in 2021 and BikeExchange-Jayco in 2022, before the Saudi Arabian region of AlUla came in as co-sponsor for 2023. Scott supplied the bikes until 2020, Bianchi in 2021 and Giant from 2022.

Simon Gerrans won the 2012 Tour Down Under in the team's first WorldTour race, then Milan-San Remo two months later for its first Monument, and added Liège-Bastogne-Liège in 2014. Team time trialling was an early strength, and a TTT stage win at the 2013 Tour de France put Gerrans in yellow. The Backstage Pass video series built a following of its own away from the racing.

Esteban Chaves finished second at the 2016 Giro d'Italia and won Il Lombardia that October. Adam and Simon Yates joined as neo-pros in 2014, and Adam took fourth place and the white jersey at the 2016 Tour de France. Simon led the 2018 Giro into the final week before losing it on the Colle delle Finestre, then won the Vuelta a España that September for the team's first Grand Tour title.

A takeover by the Spanish foundation Manuela Fundación was announced in 2020 and then collapsed, and Gerry Ryan recommitted to funding the squad. Bannan left, with Brent Copeland taking over as general manager from July that year.

Michael Matthews rode the Orica years, left for Sunweb in 2017 and returned in 2021, winning a Tour de France stage at Mende in 2022. Dylan Groenewegen joined for 2022 and won Tour stages in 2022 and 2024. Simon Yates left after the 2024 season. GreenEDGE Cycling has also fielded a women's squad since 2012, racing as Liv-AlUla-Jayco from 2024.
