Panaracer Dirty Reiver
The Panaracer Dirty Reiver is the UK21s premier gravel cycling challenge and one of the largest gravel events in Europe, inspired by the North American 'Gravel Grinder' format. Now in its 10th anniversary edition, the event offers a choice of three challenging routes: 200km, 135km, and the 65km Dirty Sixty Fiver, all of which use the vast network of gravel forest access roads in Kielder Forest, spanning the English and Scottish borders. Riders can expect an immersive and remote adventure that is nearly 100% off-road, testing their stamina and self-reliance. The event weekend includes on-site camping, a 'Gravel Expo' village, and professional timing, creating a festival-like atmosphere for gravel enthusiasts. Though not a traditional race, finish times are graded, and the 200km distance is considered a rite of passage in the gravel world.
