This event is a true test of climbing prowess, set in the heart of the French Pyrenees. The competitive long course (approx. 157 km with over 4,000m+ of elevation gain) tackles two of the most legendary mountain passes in cycling: the Col d'Aspin and the towering Col du Tourmalet, both staples of the Tour de France. The race begins in the famous pilgrimage town of Lourdes, with riders quickly heading to the foothills for a series of challenging cols before the major ascents. Completing this race is a major accomplishment, offering an unforgettable experience on hallowed cycling ground, culminating in a 34 km descent off the Tourmalet back towards Lourdes.
