Belgian Waffle Ride Arizona

Kicking off the 2026 Quad-Tripel Crown of Gravel Series, the BWR Arizona is known as 'The Hell of the North (Desert)' and is a unique desert and mountain gravel experience. The course, starting and finishing in the picturesque town of Cave Creek, is characterized by its fast, fiery, and sting-filled terrain. Riders traverse technical 'unroads' including desert rock, cacti-filled landscapes, mountain washes, and sinuous single-track in McDowell Mountain Regional Park, all punctuated by sections of pristine tarmac. The event is a two-day festival beginning with the Unroad Expo, and the main Waffle, Wafer, and Wanna races offer an early-season test of fitness, technical skill, and equipment resilience.
