Luke’s route into cycling media began with a cheap camcorder in a spare room of a dingy London flat. With a curiosity for cheaper bike parts, and how far a small budget can stretch, he is best known for his work documenting value-driven bike builds and components. Luke has spent years testing road, gravel, and tech products - often sourced directly from factories in China - to separate real innovation from marketing fluff.

Along the way, he’s found that genuine value and outright disappointment can sit uncomfortably close together, and uncovering the difference is what keeps things interesting.
