The 2026 UEC Cyclo-cross European Championships are held in Zeddam, in the Dutch municipality of Montferland, on 7 and 8 November. The course, drawn up by former world champion Erwin Vervecken, runs through the woods around the village and includes Zeddam's well-known staircase of more than 100 steps. The village hosted the 2006 World Championships, where Vervecken won the elite men's title, but the UCI judged the stairs too narrow for that race. They have since been renovated for this one.
