Bonneval-sur-Arc (Maurienne, south)
stage neutralised — Egan Bernal attacked alone over the Iseran to drop Julian Alaphilippe — then a freak hailstorm and landslide blocked the road ahead and the stage was stopped. Times were taken at the Iseran summit, putting Bernal in yellow; he became the first Colombian Tour winner two days later.
