Tadej Pogacar won stage 14 after attacking on the Col du Haag and riding clear on the final climb to Le Markstein. He extended his lead in the general classification on a difficult Vosges mountain stage. A strong early breakaway went up the road, with Richard Carapaz among the riders to feature. Behind them, Pogacar’s acceleration split the chase, and Jonas Vingegaard and Remco Evenepoel lost time on the final ascent.
